Spring always offers the perfect opportunity for renewal, reflection and new beginnings. At WEYU, we are embracing this season of regeneration with an incredibly exciting and fresh look to the future as we get poised for what is about to become the biggest month in WEYU’s history! While our month (April) began with the announcement of our new Solana NFT Marketplace, and with so much more ahead, now feels like the perfect moment to reveal the new WEYU Roadmap! Are you ready to discover more?
A brand new Roadmap for 2022 and beyond is now LIVE, complementing WEYU’s vision to build the most advanced and user-friendly ecosystem for the NFT landscape and its communities. As you know, we believe that the key to adoption starts with the user, and therefore, our refreshed vision works towards this, driving forward to a multi-accessible NFT future where everyone is included and no one is left behind.
Throughout 2021, and now into 2022 the WEYU team has been busy developing a host of innovative products, and we’ve been expanding extremely fast. Thankfully we have had the chance to prioritize our product development plans, some of which are coming to fruition as we speak and others that will be emerging in the near future. The exciting new WEYU Roadmap lays out our next steps, illustrating ambitious plans for a DAO and a WEYU Metaverse World, while continuously building new features that enrich user experience.
Let’s take a closer look at the main WEYU Roadmap highlights ahead:
- BSC meets Solana Bridge
WEYU has partnered with Solana-funded powerhouse Wormhole, who have successfully helped dozens of projects bridge their tokens from multiple blockchains. This will allow WEYU to bridge its BSC token with the Solana blockchain, offering projects and their user’s near-limitless possibilities in staking Defi and NFTs. You can expect a dedicated and detailed blog post on this subject very soon.
2. Staking and Yield Farming
As the WEYU BSC token holds features like automatic burns and automatic liquidity, the Solana WEYU token will introduce staking to the platform, bringing lucrative incentives to holders such as fee distribution, cash back on NFT purchases, APY and much more.
3. EVM Integrations
EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) is the core foundation of blockchains such as BSC, Avalanche, Crypto.com and of course Ethereum. The WEYU NFT marketplace will soon gain EVM compatibility, offering integration across the very best blockchains.
4. WEDAO
DAOs or Decentralized Autonomous Organizations act as ‘clubs,’ for crypto enthusiasts that provide a democratic approach in the decision making and shared goals of the community. At WEYU, we believe in a decentralized future, and therefore WEDAO will incorporate the community and partners to come together and help build the future of the WEYU ecosystem jointly.
5. WEYU World Metaverse Launch
WEYU World will be our very own Metaverse, blending the digital with the physical while exploring the frontiers of digital landscapes. WEYU World phase 1 has the potential to realize the first wave of avatars alongside physical and digital wearables. Land parcels will arrive during Phase 2 of WEYU World and in Phase 3 we will open the gates to this community-driven Metaverse, WEYU World.
